Synopsis
An Irish-theme bar that does it right. The owners are Irish which means this is
an Irish bar.
Bar Hours
They are closed Monday but open at 11:30 AM all other days. They close Tuesday
at midnight, Wednesday and Thursday at 1:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday at 2:00
AM. Sunday hours are 4:00 PM to midnight. SPECIAL NOTE: They will be closed
on Sunday until September.
Happy Hour
Holiday Closing
Closed most holidays. St. Patrick's Day is an exception.
Beer, Wines & Spirits
You should expect Guinness and other Irish beers to be found here. The Stouts
are served Dublin cold, with means they are more to the American taste. They
gave 9 taps and a small bottle selection.
Food
Irish and American food. Dine inside or out on the patio. Try the Oysters,
Trout, Irish Lamb Stew or Sheperd's pie. The fish and chips are made with
Guinness.
Food Hours
Entertainment
Live music on Friday and Saturday. Ceilie dancing on Tuesday. You really want
to see this. NOTE: nightly entertainment will resume in September.
Cigar Smoking
I would say no but you could ask. The bar is too close to diners.
Cash Problem?
The nearest ATM machine is the PNC Bank at the corner of Penn & 21st.
If you're a National City customer, they have an ATM at Wholey's on Penn Ave. at
17th.
Parking
Look for a spot on the street or in an unused lot.
