For those traveling North on McKnight Rd., stay in the right lane.  At McIntire Center you will make the loop from the right lane to go south on McKnight.  Watch for the signs.  Mad Mex is on the right just after you make the turn. 

Synopsis
Unlike its sister pub in Oakland, this place has a longer bar and the larger dining area is off to the side.  Like its sister pub this is an active place.  The “saw tooth” bar will either give you privacy of put you at the center of the group.  In any event there is no need to rush out of here.

 Bar Hours
Open 7 days for lunch, dinner and late night outings.

 Happy Hour
For the summer it goes from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.  Winter hours from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.  Don't ask me to explain this or when they change.  During happy hour all drafts go for half off.

Holiday Closing

 Beer, Wines & Spirits
Twenty beers on draft and a good bottle selection as well.

 Tequilla
It is not well known to beer drinkers but this group of bars (Kaya and Mad Mex) have a world class selection of this south of the border drink. 

 Food
Mexican style. 

Food Hours
Sunday to Tuesday, 11 to 11.  Till midnight other days.

 Entertainment
Live music on Sunday night.  Usually after 10:00 PM.

 Cigar Smoking
It doesn't look like this would be welcomed here.

 Cash Problem?
PNC Bank and Mellon Bank have ATM's in McIntyre Square across McKnight Road.  Dollar Bank is in the Square too but I don't know about anATM.

 Parking
Mad Mex has a good number of parking in their lot.

Sister pubs to Mad Mex is Kaya in the Strip and Mad Mex in Oakland.
