The northern part of this district lies in Spitalfields, which is just east of Liverpool station. You will also find Petticoat Lane market near here. At the southern end and just east of the Tower is St. Katharine’s Docks. The docks sport some find yachts and shopping and makes for a nice walk during a summer day. Tower Hill station

A good stop after seeing the Tower and Tower Bridge. You can walk through the top of Tower Bridge. It’s a great view of the city. The bar is large and has a copper top but the place to be is outside on a nice day. See if they still have Dickens Own, a cask bitter (1040) or Special (1050). Other real ales can be found here as well.
